It was my MOST inspiring and motivating experience on leadership!!
Director - Asian Hotels
Leadership at 26000 feet was an outstanding and spell binding session. Raghu was able to transform the entire group into a different situation and get everybody fully immersed into it. The takeaways from the session were absolutely phenomenal and the group has pledged to make a difference using the inputs. Thank you Captain Raghu for making this happen!

I have no words to express on how good the session was. It is truly remarkable how Raghu changed our outlook in 3 hours.
Indian School of Business
Raghu's ability to take each one of us participants through the experience of life and situations in isolated and unfriendly conditions has left an undeniable impression of key lessons on leadership in our hearts and minds.
Managing Director, Max group
The passion and conviction with which Raghu delivers this workshop rubs off on the audience. It is impossible -- and I repeat "impossible" - to come out of the workshop without wanting to make that change.

Sometimes an experience is so powerful that even the most articulate amongst us, are, at a loss for words. Seasoned lawyers, who are skeptical, if not cynical, at most times, were so visibly touched. It was truly 'a consciousness shocker'.

Raghu Raman’s talk on ‘Leadership at 26,000 feet’ is always truly inspiring. There can hardly be a finer way to exemplify the dynamics of leadership than the case of defense personnel in a leadership role at an altitude which by plain imagination can send shivers down one’s spine, leave alone the difficulties and crises that go with it. It is an incomparable responsibility – a responsibility for the life of oneself and the team members and at the same time to attain the larger objective of the nation where the life and well-being of millions is at stake. Raghu’s indomitable spirit and passion is reflected in his oration.
Batch after batch, the students of Welingkar have been charged and highly energized as they are mesmerized after listening to Captain’s talk. More than the standing ovation that he has received each time on our campus what I cherish is that he effectively manages to push individuals out of their comfort zone and take action.

Raghu Raman's workshop at EO New Delhi was unlike anything we have experienced before. It was a hypnotic/ meditative journey where he transposed us into mind a soldier in Siachen and made us like his life for those minutes. If you've heard of a 'flight simulator' then I would call this a 'life simulator'- closest you can get to the real thing. Tremendous ! Leadership lessons would emerge from within you from the time you wake up the next morning.. Life changing indeed !
I never had such kind of session in my life. The delivery of session was outstanding. Raman took us to a different planet we never thought of. I liked the way he related the real army movements in Siachen with our corporate culture and explained the leadership in completely different and simple way. Today, I learnt the exact difference between a Manager and a Leader. After this session, my respect for our soldiers has increased. Salute to Raman!!
Raghu has taught in such a clear fashion what no business setting or even a simulation could teach you in such a short span of time.

It was worth every minute of my time away from the office. Very enriching. I think it was just right - this is my first experience with a TOSB program and this will be a tough one to follow!

The session from Raghu Raman was a real lesson in the principles & practices of an authentic leader. Raghu leverages his experience in the Indian army, to underscore & highlight aspects of personal leadership ,which can applied to the corporate world. The feedback from the participants & their energy after the session was great, which is a testimonial to the experience that they all had. Truly an outstanding speaker & inspirational leadership instructor whose life inspires & motivates !
Your talk on leadership was truly outstanding. The speech and contents were truly invigorating and at times indeed it touched our emotional cords deeply. The subject and the back drop was painful, shocking and sensitive. Your ability to relate the daily happenings of these brave men to the day to day corporate activities and decision making process was brilliant.
The team was captivated by the subject, your delivery, your conviction and the manner in which it was presented. There were enough take home in terms of tool kit for our brains. It was evident from the Q&A sessions, most participants were eager to hear more of you.

Leadership at 26000 Feet was possibly one of the few presentations that I will recollect for a long time. I talked to my family and colleagues about the bearing it had on us, both personal and professional front. I am sure many of us would have shared the experience with families, especially with our children. The burden of leadership has been brought out so articulately by Raghu Raman. Going forward I am sure I will not make mountains about problems as they appear trivial.... Great Experience!!
I was one of the persons present at your talk on Leadership at 26000 feet given to the RBI’s 1981-82 officers. One of the reasons you would not have noticed me was the fact that I was frozen stiff in -35 to - 45 degrees C. Whatever you said was absolutely on the head – we are afraid to take decisions at Corporate India of introducing objectivity in our decision taking process even in small matters ….. Those of us who have deviated from the trodden path suffer endlessly, but chose to tread on endlessly. Your talk was awesome and soul stirring. Thank you.

It was a truly inspiring session that takes you through a journey most of us would never dream of and you end up with realizations you'd never have had otherwise....Raghu is an outstanding and captivating speaker and kept us engaged or rather mesmerized through the session and we still couldn't get enough. The session completes the pending value I hadn't derived from an expensive ISB education :-) Highly recommended!
No words to describe, never realized that 3 hour session is complete. Excellent delivery, rich content ....
The reality of choice-why one does what one does. We make assumptions and believe in them until it is shattered- literally at 26000 feet. Bridging the perception of retention in a corporate world to the notion of monetary gain as the primary driver is such a overrated reason - this session bludgeons this.
An individual does something for the country / organization - the contrary view and with a bit of reflection on self experiences - creates an epiphany. Thank You.
I think you re-booted my mind.
The leadership talk on the Siachen Glacier was one of the most inspiring presentations I have heard in recent times. Raman a very clear persuasive presentation style and the content that has been put together makes me proud to be an Indian.

Exceptional speaker. Really helped charge the team. Outstanding, incredible passion. Radiating personal integrity of thought. Truly Inspiring. Outstanding!
Leadership at 26000 feet is probably one of the few presentations that I will remember for a long long time - I cannot but help feel that I am not the same person anymore. For days, my colleagues and I talked about the impact it had on us - personally and professionally. Many of us shared the experience with our families, especially with children who are about to begin their careers. The burden of leadership has been brought out so eloquently by Raghu Raman. I have stopped making mountains about problems - they seem insignificant what is mine when compared to our men experience every day at the Siachen Glacier. Hats off to him for conceiving this and sharing his experiences with many others. It is a must hear for every leader and every Indian.

The session on "Leadership at 26,000 ft" is one of the best leadership and motivations sessions I have ever attended. The simplicity with which the message was communicated was amazing. The real life stories used to communicate the attributes of leadership were very helpful to connect with the audience. More importantly, this sessions has helped me think differently about leadership and motivation and I consciously make efforts to imbibe the attributes shared in my work.

Great Orator! Speaker's passion made pictures live. Easily challenged conventional corporate wisdom. Great!! Leaders who have been there- done that make better impact in their talks to others
To start with let me put it this way, I intended to sit in the last row for the session feeling how will this GYAN help me. Was persuaded by a colleague "Come in front row, this man is magic".
I am happy I took the decision to sit nearest possible to hear Raman. Was Bowled over!!! Surely A Must for all Leaders!!!
...One of the best training sessions I have ever attended!!...
Today's session on leadership was one of the most memorable experiences in my professional life. I think this session should be extended to all levels in any organization and should not be restricted to managers alone. Salute to Raghu Raman and to the Indian Army..
What a session !!! From 26000 ft to reality in a split second. One of the best sessions I have ever attended. Makes you reflect at the realities in life and yes everything, every problem, every issue starts seeming so small now. I have personally gained a lot from the session.. To answer one of the three questions Raghu, my life would be perfect if I could be born again as a man to join the Indian armed forces and have you use my siachen glacier stories and pictures for your presentation.. :) Thanks Captain !!!
....And many more....
